three extremes

The trailer looks really good. I'll definitely be checking this one out.

This looks damn good. I'm a huge Miike fan and have just started my Chanwook Park following(oldboy). Who the heck is Fruit and what movie of his should I see?

My guess is I'm gonna have to wait for it on dvd as we rarely get limited release flicks here.

was amazing. miikes was definately the best by far... nothing compared.

Glad to hear that someone actually liked the Miike segment. I agree...he shows way more restraint than usual and has created a story equally haunting, surreal and beautiful.

Dumplings is cool and all but talk about a strung along, one note grossout (I don't give a **** if Chris Doyle shot it). Everyone's on the dick of this short in NYC and I can't for the life of me imagine how Fruit Chan stretched this one into a feature!

i totally agree man. miikes was so much more psychological than the others, and more philosophical in meaning unlike the Cut segment where many of the ideas had to be portrayed to literally instead of cryptically.

where have you guys seen this film? did it just come out in the film festivals where you're at? is it on dvd?

i have it on dvd i saw in HK when it was released

I perfer Fruit Chan's Dumplings there a 80 min verison which I own and it actually awesome. and Cut by Chan wook Park (my fav director) Miikes was a little to slow for my tastes. I like all three films but i believe the other 2 are the strongest.
