A thread was recently removed [edit - yesterday?]. It's not important which one. But I think members would appreciate a posting explaining why the thread was removed. Sometimes, it may be obvious. But sometimes not. It leaves people frustrated and also leaves them wondering what went wrong and how they could improve so it doesn't happen again.

The only reason we'd delete a thread, unless it violated site rules from the start, would be by request of the person who started it.
If it got out of hand, we'd just close it and say why.
Posting a brand new thread to explain why a thread was deleted would just invite a resumption of the deleted thread.
