I'm adapting a light I have to mount on an articulating shoe mount but I'm having an issue. I've successfully drilled the proper-sized hole, but the screw on the shoe mount doesn't fit securely. I feel like I need a thread mount to go into the hole I drilled. My plan is to gorilla glue it in place and then screw the shoe mount into the thread. My only problem is that I have no idea where yo get such pieces.
