Thoughts on this Lighting Kit

After spending a few weeks going through the forums I've got a pretty solid footing on my lighting needs, but before I take the final plunge and send in my orders, I would enjoy some final input on what I've chosen.

My shoots: Talking head interviews, small scale commercials (small sets, not much movement, 1-3 people max).

What I've chosen...

1 Cool Lights 2x55
1 Cool Lights 4x55
1 Cool Lights 150 Fresnel

3 sheets each 1/4, 1/2, full CTB and CTO, from Lee Filters

2 C-Stands (expanded to 4 in a few weeks)

2 Flag Frames

Blackwrap

5 in 1 reflector w/stand

Scrims for Fresnel

C-47's, Extra Bulbs, Clamps, Heavy Duty Extension Cords, Sandbags, Light Stands

These posts are a dime a dozen, I suppose my main concern is whether or not the 3 lights I've chosen will be a nice start, or if I should go for 2 2x55's?

You can approach the same thing several different ways, but that looks like a decent start for 3 point interview lighting.

Thanks Terry. I considered throwing in a few lowel pro lights to provide fill light for larger shoots, thoughts?

I've never worked with them but have heard good things about them. They seem like they would be good for accents, etc and are small for portability.

If it were me I would add a grid for the 4x55w, have both daylight & studio tubes for the 2x55w & 4x55w, and add some 1/8 & 1/4 minus green gels.

If you think you might ever video two subjects interviewing each other, both
on camera--you might want two lights that are identical, so you can set up
a situation where each person's key light is the other's backlight-then each
subject will have the same lighting level. Just a thought.
