Jim, thanks for your thoughts, and actually I completely agree, but just to speak for myself, you said it exactly, I simply cant afford 500 for the knowledge these MAY give me, 300 i may be able to tackle.

Same thing goes with the music software thread i started in the Cafe. Mattc offered info on Gigastudio but, again, at $500 I just don't have the budget. I didn't say it wasnt worth it.

And after i get my hands on these i can finally announce once and for all if they are actually worth, $500! Since i know everyone here's waiting for my review... right?

I too am a Buy it , Watch it, Sell it 'kinda guy. If any of you fellas are really willing to buy it for say... $280. then I'd take the plunge to buy it for full price and sell it to you later that week . It's like sharing the knowledge, like a library.

i have a feeling mrbirdboy will be done with his copy in 2 days since it only takes a day to burn the dvds :P

I will post my copy on e-bay and see if i can get more. if not that cheese wants it and then some other person on here.

this is a pretty good idea. i buy it, sell it for $200 less then the next guy sells it for 100 less and it keeps going until we all get educated on one copy. hehehe lets rip them off. :P

I noticed that the first two clips are 10mb and 26mb for Hi-WMV. If any dialup users want to get these clips easier (not have to wait for them to load in browser), here are the direct links so you can right click and save them onto your PC.

Dude - that was humor!!! I was just trying to express that I perceive that product as a high value (in line with Jim's post), and therefore I'll guard it as such ;).

Hi everyone,
I have to say that some may dupe their DVD's, but I'm the ex-owner of maybe 120 books & other learning tools in Cinematography. If I kept even a small part of the learning books that helped me along I'd be flat broke. This is America where leasing is King & "To death do us part" means nothing. So try not to judge.
I quickly flip thru every print piece I can find, lock it in memory, forget about it.
And yes, I would like both, the knowledge in the DVD's & a new bit of software. So I guess I'll sell mine on eBay. But I'll let you guy know first ...

Personally, if I have to choose (and I always do), I'd rather know how to use the basic tools really well, than have more tools but not understand them as well.
