Tell the IT department they are a bunch of control freaks. Theyll block your dvx site and bobs espn and sharies Home and garden.com but theyre back there looking at porn and reading everyones emails (inluding managements)

No they probably just block dvxuser.com because it keeps work from getting done! I've been on my laptop all day. If it wasn't for this catheter I don't know what I'd do.

I feel your pain. I am a systems admin here on Hill AF base and we block a lot of sites our self. Ebay is a big one.
The only problem I see with this site would be the downloading of video... It takes up some serious bandwidth at times, if the WAN connection\Firewall is slow and doing a lot of filtering of traffic.
The problem I have with your issue is... you are probably the only one in your company that uses this site. (maybe)
I personally think your IT has it out for you.. I download video from this site only on Fridays only cause the IT Nazi’s (Yes we have them too) are not out in full force. The base has every other Fridays off so the bandwidth taken from downloading video is not that bad.
Just suck up to an IT guy and see why the Nazi... picked you out of everyone else.

we make about 5 billion a year and are progressing to almost 15 billion a year. I only really surf during my breaks and lunch. I can't download videos because I already have them all at home. I think they are just being boneheads
