This was interesting.

The Intensity Shuttle is not the subject of the video nor is the Tendak nor is the USB to HDMI video capture card. How all the products work together is what was interesting. That is why I made the video. I was surprised the cheap USB to HDMI video capture card worked at all let alone with the Tendak. If you don't find that interesting what would you find interesting?

I was surprised it worked. I found it interesting how it worked. I am referring to all the devices.

I did find it interesting.

What I find interesting is your apparent obtuseness. I can't tell if it's feigned.

These are your last two started threads:

8/24/2020: I think it has come to and end. The video says it all. (link to your Youtube review of Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle)

9/2/2002: This was interesting. This was interesting but I think mine was defective. (link to your Youtube review of Tendek converter)

I call them clickbait, and you're arguing whether the titles are false. The reason something is clickbait isn't because the title is false. It's clickbait because it is a waste of space. Your first post talks about something coming to an end. What has come to an end? Your only other sentence there is, "The video says it all." Well I should hope so. As for your second post, it goes without saying that you find something interesting if you bothered to start a thread about it. Your only other sentence is "I think mine was defective." Why do you use the word "mine" instead of taking the chance to say "my Tendek converter"?

You either are unusually hobbled in your understanding of language and human psychology, so much that you craft sentences without the necessary background information to help your readers know what you mean, or (what I originally suspected) you are merely plucking trick phrases from the Handbook of Youtube SEO by Harold Fabercheese.

Here are revised post titles that you could have used:

The Intensity Shuttle is discontinued. It has came to an end. That is also part of the video and perhaps more important than my review.

The Tendak, Intensity Shuttle and cheap USB video capture card gave an interesting result. I thought it was interesting that the Tendak did clean up the signal. I thought it was interesting that the edge was distorted at 480I but not 720P. I thought it was interesting it worked with a cheap USB to HDMI video capture card. I think it should be safe to have a heading that says THIS WAS INTERESTING because it was interesting to me. Let me ask you this did you know how well all the products would work prior to my video? That being said you might want to work for the Russian Media : )

Btw you can change the subject of the thread by editing your first post, Go Advanced, and then edit the post title

If you found a clip of Star Wars on YouTube that was interesting I bet you would just type this was interesting in the subject. You would not need to post anything else. If you found a computer build video interesting you could simply state this was interesting. You would not have to post Intel i7 water cooled computer build with RGB lighting and MSI case. There is no need to do so if you simply found the video interesting.

Let me put it to you like this. Can you honestly say you did not find it interesting that the Tendak had distortion on the edges at 480I? I did. Did you not find it interesting that at 720P the distortion was gone. I did. Did you not find it interesting that the Tendak worked with a cheap USB to HDMI video capture card. I did. If you say "yes I did find parts of the video interesting" then you should be able to see why the title is more than adequate. Imagine an interesting video with the title "This Was Interesting". What a concept.

nope

Can you honestly say you did not find it interesting that the Tendak had distortion on the edges at 480I?

Yes, I can honestly say that I don't find that interesting.

Actually, I didn't know that until I read it in your post, because I did not finish the video.

What happened was, I clicked to your video and then clicked Back after about 3 seconds. You should know that that kind of behavior is a signal to Youtube that your video is clickbait (if lots of users click a video and then stop watching after a short bit). Youtube will downgrade your video, making it less likely to appear in search results or as recommendations on its home page or beside other videos.

Now I bet that is interesting!

What else do you find interesting? Maybe you should make a list of links to all of the things you find interesting in this thread instead of starting new ones.

You've made me spit my coffee all over my phone, quickhitrecord.

Andy, I never watched the video you linked. I came to this thread to see what was so interesting and that was as far as I was willing to go without more info.

You're not related to ryanironponyjim are you?

I'm sure you would have gotten more engagement with your video and less hectoring if you had given us clues to the content

Also - if, instead of posting the link, you had clicked the film strip icon above the post text box and embedded the video that way, it would have appeared in your post without having to leave dvxuser, thumbnail and title and all

I'm going to walk you in my shoes for a minute, because I'm beginning to believe you are serious.

When I come to DVXUser, the first thing I do is click the What's New tab (which I bet is interesting to those who don't know it exists).

I can quickly see which threads to me are going to be interesting, just based on their thread titles (except for yours). Most of the time, most of the threads are to me uninteresting. Being able to scan the list in about 5 seconds and just click the one or two that are interesting is convenient.

Now there is among them a thread that I don't know if it will be interesting, because its title is simply This was interesting. How will I know if it will be interesting to me? Experience tells me that 9 times out of 10, it won't be interesting, because 9 out of 10 threads aren't interesting. Also someone that bad at choosing titles is probably also bad at choosing topics. But against by better judgment, I clicked anyway, out of curiosity (probably your intent!). And like I said, after about 3 seconds I realized it wasn't going to be interesting, and stopped the video.

Since you are so adamant about the appropriateness of your title, imagine if everyone acted the way you did. Imagine going to DVXUser, and all the titles were:

This was interesting.
This was interesting.
This was interesting.
This was interesting.
This was interesting.
This was interesting.
This was interesting.

You wouldn't know what they were about without clicking into them. And woe to you if you ever wanted to follow up on a thread later.

What makes something clickbait isn't inaccuracy but imprecision.

If you found a computer build video interesting you could simply state this was interesting. You would not have to post Intel i7 water cooled computer build with RGB lighting and MSI case.

Actually that would be a great title and would let me know whether I would be interested.
