This sounds simple to do but I could not figure out how to do it. :undecided

I have two layers and I want to paint on one layer and replace the painted part with what is on the second layer. In other words, I want to paint a hole in the layer so that we can see the layer behind it. I simply can't figure out how to do it. I tried everything including the eraser, the brush, etc... . Nothing works. Help.

In the paint settings, set channel to "alpha"

Yes but I don't want the paint spot to stay on the enrire sequence. I want each frame to allow for a different paint spot. How do I go paiting just one frame at a time without affecting the other frames?

In the paint settings, set duration to single frame

No offense, but these are simple questions answered in the instructions/help pdf , or just playing with the settings
