have you won an award?

its the most useful website i've ever been on. obviously a fisherman wouldnt think so but as a filmmaker I just wanted to say hats off and thanks.

It is a great site. People from all over the world coming together for a common good. To make movies and help others make movies. It's world peace (in website form).

When I first came here I was in awe. I was wondering how a place like this could still exist, literally no flaming, complete maturity, it's almost like "The Village" in that it's such a tight community. It took a few months for the shock of a site like this to wear off, just awe inspiring

thanks guys.. its bizarre I have been working on so many productions in the last 5 months I have had negatize zero time to spend hanging around.. but every so often I sneak in and read some posts, and am still amazed what DVXuser has turned into.

When I created DVXuser.com a few years ago I didnt have a clue it would be such an important part of so many peoples lives... I thought I would be here all alone talking to myself :)

Wouldn't it be weird if Jarred really is talking to himself? I mean, he created all these member aliases and personalities, just so he could have friends to chat with.  Bluespider is his wise crackin' personality, disjecta is his nature loving persona, and Barry Green is his intellectual side. Maybe I am the only other real person on this site. (cue Twilight Zone music)


Seriously. thank you Jarred. Even though I am 10,000 miles away from friends and family, your site has made me feel at home and not so lonely. Heck, you could charge a cover charge and I would still visit (by sneeking in the backdoor).

Could be historic, Jarred -- along the lines of Yahoo! or Google, except not like those sites at all . . . ::)

I, for one, am glad to have gotten in on the ground floor . . .

What the hell are you guys talking about. This site sucks. If I had any sort of social life, I never would have signed up.

...oh wait, I got confused for a moment, this site rocks, and I used to have a social life before DVXuser sucked my brain out.

I want to start a religion that worships Hudson, that way, it wouldn't be sacrilegious, it would just be religious pluralism.
