This may be blasphemy but....

I don't know if it is blasphemy... but I think it violates Apple's OS-X EULA. Chances are a lawsuit will take them down eventually, so I wouldn't count on long-term support.
 
i have been a machead for a long time and would normally scoff at this kinda thing. however, with the way apple has been jerking us around lately, a hackintosh is now on my radar....
 
They have. But the litigation is still pending. I went to their site yesterday and opened a chat with a sales rep, and he said he couldn't comment on pending litigation when I asked him about the OS X EULA issue.

The likelihood that these guys will still be around a year from now is not good... I don't think that they can prove that Apple is an illegal monopoly. They have essentially hacked OS X, and like with any hacked software, you run the risk of encountering major bugs. Without support. I'm not trying to be the Apple police - buy whatever you want. but just think about whether or not this computer will still be working and supported two years from now. Is it worth the investment?
