this is strange

[Jay Rodriguez]

i'm working on a different mac today and using photoshop 8. I went to play with the filters but there's only 6 of them here.

blur
noise
pixelate
sharpen
styleize
other

I then went onto my dell laptop and see that in my photoshop 6 I have a much, much longer list of default filters.

Anyone know why the mac only shows 6 filters?

Looks like those are the filters that come up when in 16 bit mode....

hmm, how do I switch modes then?
