I didn.t know where to post this. I shot a small film on 16mm before deciding to switch to the HVX [currently saving my pennies - or more accurately - trying to sell my 16mm Eclair package]. I finally posted it online and wanted to get some opinions from people that aren.t my family/friends. The film is called "Smart People" - you can ignore the other two films...they were shot two years ago [again on 16mm]. It.s in H.264 so you need quicktime 7, and the file is a little large [18MBs - but that.s nothing compared to HD, right? ;) ] Anyway, so if you could just leave some comments on what you think about it. And also to tie this into the HVX boards, I.m curious if these kinds of shots will work with an HVX [with 35 adapter]. I.ve seen lots of special effects/quick cut footage that looks amazing, but I shoot longer static scenes...so let me know how well you think this kind of movie would transfer had I shot it with an HVX. Anyway, thanks for reading all this and I look forward to comments/criticism. The site address is:

Hey Mark.

Nicely shot piece, well done with acceptabe acting.
I found the main character extremely obnoxious though, and was hoping she was going to get hit by a bus at the end :)
There's a good story in there, but I am not sure it is perfectly
told.

But to your main question: I think you will be able to do AMAZING things with the HVX, and you won't be dissapointed.
