That was beautiful. Love the gritty-lens. Do you know if that was on the camera, or in post?

And Mark Margolis!!!!!! Nice!

Trippy....

I showed it to a friend and he said "Freaky... Compelling... Kinda Depressing" :)

Was well-executed on all fronts. Refreshing...

OK, I have to ask since I have never actually seem the back of a large format camera, what exactly is going on here, a videocamera of some sort is looking at the "viewfinder" of the old camera? No matter what, I looooove it.

It was filmed off the back of a 4x5 camera.

gorgeous film.

Yeh can someone explain what the back of a 4X5 camera means :)

I believe it is very old style large format camera. I presume it was placed and rigged in front of the camera being used to actually film the short. The camera shooting than shoots and captures the light either through the lens of the large format 4x5 camera, or maybe via the light hitting the ground glass.

Please correct me if i'm wrong, the look is far too interesting to not have an itching curiosity of how it was done.
On another note, the DP's unique method is extraordinary. Great look.

More specifics on that 3X5 process would be much appreciated.
Mysteriously wonderful short.
side note: that actor is compelling (even silent)
