this forum is making me mad

hello i am really tired of this forum :
i had my main account b4 but i requested to change my name only
but didnt have a response so some people in this forum felt petty for me for being requesting it too much without an answer
so they advice me to make another account , so i did
then the admin at last answered me and i requested from him to close this new account and just change my screen name on my main account

and here what he done :
he closed my main account instead of changing its name " he disable it "
then he left me with this new account
but
he made it so i can not even edit my profile or setting or change my pic etc ..
so when i try to edit my profile i got a message saying
" You do not have permission to access this page cas the admin do not allow You to do it or disabled Your account ????

and i tried to contact admin but no answer as usual !!

now why the admin is torturing me like that ??
why made our life here that hard ?
is it really that hard to change my name on my main account to follow and comment on my posts ?
and why let me make another account to make it unusable ?
i am really sick of this and do not know what to do

last note : the reason i wanted to change my screen name on my account is that it was made by a mistake and i wrote my work email instead of user name and till now i got a lot of spam and lately hacking to this email , which didnt stop till now
really i am going mad here admin if You ever listen or follow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
As I recall it is necessary to make a post before being able to edit your profile.

Since you have done so you may be able to do so now. If not make a post to the NEW USER forum. Failing that it is possible due to the never ending spam attacks that manual approval is required now.

The world isn't against you. Calm down. Be patient, the relevant mods will get to it in due course.
 
You are really sick of what? A hobby forum of people interested in the same thing. It's not life threatening, or as complicated as brain sugary. Have you thought that perhaps you might be er, whining a bit about small things? The people who run the forum have lives too, and maybe they have better things to do.

I can tell you from the forum I moderate that tinkering with name changes often wrecks the database, needing rebuilding an it always seems to go wrong. Links fail to parse, number counts go astray and it's so easy to miss ticking a box, leading to posts just vanishing.

Is changing your name such a big deal you want to make all this fuss?

So to answer your question - yes, it IS often very difficult to make what users feel are insignificant little changes.

A friend of mine is really ill, that is what I'd call stress - at worst, your post count is back to one, and you have your new name. So what?

I doubt anybody is going to feel sorry for you, and will probably feel sorry for the people who run the forum, get no thanks, and constantly moaned at by members who really need to get out more! Sorry - but I don't know you, and can only base my opinion of you on one post - which reads a little like a spoiled child having a tantrum. As my mum would have said "off to bed with no tea!"
 
If you are tired of the forum; if it is making you mad and sick, then the best thing to do is avoid it.

he says changing name is not a big thing ,, then he says changing names is a big deal and very difficult and admins have lives so they can not change it !!
then again he asks why it is a big deal to me

this is not a polite way to talk to people !! and You have no right to judge me and You do not know me to tell me who i am
and what Your mum says is just for You i dont need to know what Your mum says to You as i do not know her yet !!
so leave the mum issue and grow up children

ok since all You offer here is comedy and i see aalot of clowns why dont You tell us Your joke may we laugh alil bit like the one who told us about his mum
 
Your lack of capitalization and punctuation is making me mad.




Even if English isn't your primary language, taking the time to start each sentence with a capital letter and end it with a period isn't too much to ask.
 
Sometimes when I am mad...I make some hot chocolate and watch Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure. It may also help in this case. Good luck.

You should be able to edit your account once you are actively posting. It seems this thread activity might be the solution.

From what I gather, you like this new account except that you can't edit your profile, right? If you have any issues from here forward, please let me know.

if the admin still want to help
ill brief the problem
You closed the wrong account
and the real problem as i mentioned
is that i used my work email as a user name and that ended with a lot of my work spam
so all i needed was to change that user name which have is now my email to hide my email
that was all
it is not about i dont find my current user name not sexy
if You want to help just send me a message to correct it

After reading this post I think I will do; its really stressed me out reading how someone was betrayed by a free forum online, all they wanted was to change their name and they were treated so badly. I love that film I think I will cry myself to sleep with a hot chocolate and Bill and Ted in the background to keep me company.

Whats wrong with your name?
