Hi there,
this could possibly work for a wireless video monitoring, I'm sure it's light, probably a bit bulky, runs of 12v-1A, but it can do VGA, component, composite and s-video up to 100ft.
It uses the 802.11b/g/n spec, so interference might be a problem at some locations.

won't be the most elegant solution, but for $600, could be cool!
