Third RED DRAGON reel : Peter Collister tests for ASC (day, night, lowlight, skin)

Fantastic! I may need to put one of my kidneys up for sale. Beautiful footage. Looks like a camera that can do it all.
 
High contrast situations, low light & delicate skin tones, this clip IMO really sells "Dragon" image power.

The thing to remember with all these clips is these 'tests" are all using the existing colour science profiles for Epic/Scarlet. New colour profile is still being baked for Dragon & not out yet. So things should will look better in the coming months !
 
This is really nice! But I've always liked RED footage shot in daylight. Tungsten lit skin tone is what I want to see, as that's where I've always had the most trouble with RED cameras.

....I know there are things about persuasion and perception, but this is quite possibly the first digital image I prefer to film. And I know this is just vimeo. Still, not sure that I have ever seen that kind of dr, with those colors, with that clean an image.... pretty amazing, and a very nice first step into a digital frontier.
