Third-Party p2 Software

Does anyone know of any third-party software for importing p2 data? As you already know, the one in Final Cut 5 is very very limited, and I'm looking for a more thorough alternative.

As a newb to FCP and P2 I've had no problems importing footage from my HVX200. So I'm wondering what you mean by "very very limited"?

Yep- it kinda depends what you are after. If you want MXF native and all metadata from the camera- you want Raylight or P2 Log. Otherwise if you are good with footage- sound/picture and timecode which is all you need to edit than FCP import is perfect.
