Thinking of going to School, need some help/ suggestions

Basically I am shooting and directing Music Videos. Work has been alright, but not great. I am doing about 3 projects a month which is barely paying for the all of the bills I have. So I have decided to go to school and take advantage of some government funding I have.

In this mean time I will continue to work on advertising my work + perfecting my craft. I am really not interested in learning anything and I already know a lot about filming/editing. So I was thinking of maybe taking a Motion Graphics course and going to school for that.

I use FCP and have incorporated some of Apple Motion into my Music Videos so I already know how to use the program, but maybe going to school I can learn more and use that chance to network?


The point is I can go to school for free and maybe study motion for like 1 or 2 years and in the meantime ( free time ) I continue to shoot Music Videos and get paid on the side. The Government will pay for the school cost + give me monthly housing benefits. So yeah I can go to school for something I already know but get paid for it while my business continues to grow.



Please if anyone can give me some opinions or help on this matter it would greatly be appreciated.

I'm open to that idea. I guess if I were to do that though I would have to go to a regular college and not a private school though....
