Think XL1 left a sour tast in Soderberg's mouth?

So in the current issue of Stuff magazine they had a digital camcorder comparo. Amongst the line up is a DVX100A. The cameras were reviewed by a camera operator on Ocean's 12. for the DVX he said:

"...Soderbergh had me use this for some surveillance-camera shots in Ocean's 12.."

BWUAHAHA I guess the XL1/Full Frontal experience really scared Sodebergh off from using miniDV cams.

For the Elura 70:

"Soderberg and I used the pro Canon XL1 for Full Frontal, this is pretty much a less expensive version of that."

BWUAHAH enuff said.

That reminds me of Bowsers laugh from Mario Brothers.

I wonder if these youngsters (Damn it. Im only 34!) know that Sha Na Na is the band that was in Grease. "How low can you go, how low can you go, how low can you go? Booorrrnnn to hand jive baby!"

Johnny, pump out 1 more post, 6 grand biatches!

*Dances in a box outfit*

I remember when halloween came one year, and i went as "Teh Box" basically me in solid snake outfit with a box taped to my back, and it worked well, for hiding and whatnot, but eventually i just ripped it off and used it for collecting candy

It's funny that a group of guys dancing and crooning together are referred to as a 'band'.

It's also funny how rap artists, hip hop and r and b acts are considered musicians. I mean this considering they are either using someone elses music or someone is producing the music for them. "Hey! We stole these music sample from a kick ass rock band and wrote some rymes to them about being a bad mofo. NOw look pretty and we'll put dancers behind you."

AND THE GRAMMY GOES TO...

I wonder if I just started a debate.

My appologies, they should be refered to as a group.

Or better yet, how about a group of no talent ass clowns.

Hudson- While I agree with that statement as far as MAINSTREAM rap is conserned. I must say that undergound hip hop is VERY respectable, and I quite enjoy it. Original beats, and phenominal lyrics. If interested see Aesop Rock, Atmosphere, Living Legends and Black Star.

Check out any of Aesop Rock's songs off of Labor Days or Float and I promise it will change your mind.

EDIT: If you do this, I would suggest looking up the lyrics as well. Sometimes it's tricky to understand. ;)

Soderberg has left a sour taste in MY mouth. Oh, not some of his work... I liked Traffic for instance.

But I just got so sick of all the wannabe DV magazines gushing about how wonderful and creative and studly he is. Look, he's a dork! Like me! End of story.
