Think this monitor is worth it.

Looks horrible... check out the "Lilliput" and compare resolution spec's. Infact search "Lilliput" here at DVXuser. Compare rezz and cost... thank me later

Deffently Better, But With a dvx100a Do I still need a converter? Dont think I do. Just need a LCD, battery Pack, Arm, and cables correct?

bwest, thanks! For some reason I couldn't find it searching on ebay I could only find the 8" touch screen.

That lilliput is sweet, think I'll get one pretty soon. What's the best way to power it? What's the best way to mount it (I mean the bracket on the monitor end)? Is the ac adaptor switchable (ok to use in PAL land)?

the monitor has a 1/4 20 connector in the monitor, my noga screws right in. Powering it same as CookFX's monitor... You need a 12v battery which come in all shapes and sizes. I have large power needs for many rigs I use.. so you need to become a bit of an electrician and learn batteries and connectors to be videographer. Otherwise shoot DSLR. Good luck.

Who makes a good middle of the road mounting arm? Because it seems like building your own is a lot cheaper a decent battery pack is 60. Now whats arm that can handle off the tripod action and not kill me?
