Thin white line...chapter marker?

I have a 40 minute project with 6 chapter markers. When I exported my project and burned a DVD, I noticed a thin white line that is over the top of the letter box at the top of the screen. How do I get rid of this? In some shots its not noticeable but in just about a good number of them you see the line. I know it has to do with chapter markers because in DVDSP you actually see the white Marker line up top at first then it dissapears. I guess I could import the whole thing back into FCP and add another letterbox to cover the thin white line.
 
I just watched my DVD in question on my portable DVD player and the white line is very visible. If you look close enough at the screen you can actually see where it says MARKER 1, MARKER 2, etc. How do I cover that up or better yet how do I get rid of that from being seen?
 
Sounds like you've turned on some type of an overlay although I'm surprised it burned it to DVD. Go through your settings in both FCP and DVD program and see if there's an option to display marker info. (Check the help files)
