This is weird cause the photos belong to a member of DVXUSER (not me!) but I checked them out, thought they rocked and thought you should see them too.

I esp. like the one of the giant earth mover.

There's something about these pics that have a surreal, almost cartoonish quality to them that I love.

Great work, Rich.

Dammnn...those pics are beasting!!

Obviously Rich's photos were shot with film..and had to be color corrected and some how uprezzed..cuz they look like they from like hollywood movies or something...the way the quality is...the coloring...focusing....its awesome!

...care to share how you took some of those pics Rich? wat camera? Lens? way to color correct and not get those film scratches or grains?

im very interested to kno how he did that.

I believe that Rich posted once that he has a D-20... he was an early adopter of that model.

D-20? thats a Canon rite? is it film or digital?

..it takes really nice pictures..its prolly exspensive as all hell too.

im working with a really really...bad..35mm camera...a Pentax...the model is ZX-60

the lens is ok too...id rather work with a Canon or Nikon...the lens has a standard range of 28-90mm...so it doesnt really zoom in much either...but i wanna kno how he got the super good quality...either he shot it with digital and just crushed all blacks in PS or suttin...or if with film...his steps to get it look crystal clear.

obviously...my jaw dropped at those pics..lol

My second post got deleted...not sure why....so I'll try again.

Kai, I checked your site...your video works is slick. I really liked your ad, (jeeze, now I can't remember what it was for)...the one with the driving and all the graphic overlays.

Looked amazing. I hope you get to read this before it disappears.

hey thanks guys...havnt taken many new images latly....been wanting to, i have just been slammed latly.

i shoot digital with a canon 20d with a canon 50m 1.4, canon L 16-35 2.8, sigma 70-200 2.8...i also have a cheapo russian fisheye and a lens baby.

i shoot either in raw or full rez jpeg, and do a little CC and levels adjustments in photoshop.

a lot of them rely on digital enhancements and oversharpening to look the way they do.

Thanks man. I have a new site in the works with all my recent work on it (all the stuff up now is at least 3 years old).

I'm also in the Canon camp with Rich. Best in my book.

I've been a frequenter of Rich's photo blog for a while. There some great stuff in there.

Kyle's stuff is great too.

I wonder if anyone has ever rigged one up to a DVX? I guess you could with one of the 35mm adapters, though I suppose you could do the same effects in post, but could be fun to play with.
