Theory question: dnXhd > ProRes

Heya...

I sometimes encounter clients that really love ProRes... mac people mostly. Now my new setup is pc, so I ofcourse don't have ProRes natively.

But I was wondering if the following would be possible without loss of quality:

Ingest ProRes clips and XML in DaVinci
Grade in DaVinci
Export in high bit rate dnXHD
Import in Premier
Export in ProRes (Miraizon)

Yes, I know, extra work to get to the same point, but have any of you tried this and done so without leaving scars on the images?

Never mind... just tried it out myself hehe.

It can be done however, it takes a good while longer to export the file.
Also it does something to the contrast and levels going from dnXhd to ProRes HQ... the prores file comes out looking flatter.
I'll see if I can tweak that.
