Storytellers of all kinds are welcome to participate in this exciting new genre of a web series, Mass Participation!
I've recently begun work as an intern for Theatrics, a Houston based production company. We run a web show called Beckinfield that allows people from around the world to participate in the story.
It takes place in Beckinfield, California where mysterious and quirky things are always happening. The high school is doing an On The Map project, where they have asked the citizens of the town to post video blogs about all of the wacky happenings.
This is where you come in.
You can create a character, and post a video blog as your character. Your video will appear on the site, and every week our editor puts together a compilation video that highlights the over all storyline of that week. It's fun, it's easy, and you get to show off your skills to a real Hollywood casting director who watches every video and picks a few of his favorites to present every month.
