Theater fresnel

Is there a notable difference between a theater fresnel or an arri (or other brand )fresnel?
I found a 1k theater fresnel(wiht barndoors) for 120€(around 150$) whereas an arri 1k fresnel can cost around 400$.
Which are the differences between them? I've heard that the focusing system is less accurate.
But would it be a good choice if on tight budget?

The main differences are the mounting features. In film/TV lighting, there are two basic standard mounts. For smaller instruments a 5/8" diameter pin on the stand mounts into a 5/8" receiver on the source. Larger ones use a 1 1/8" pin on the source and a receiver socket on the stand. From your link it looks like they offer barndoors, but I don't see any wire scrims offered. You might want to be certain that these fixtures will accomodate scrims.

What might work for these is to use a TVMP on their yoke and then standard supports.

thanks for your reply.
I'll ask them about the scrims.Would you buy it if there are no scrims offered and use other type of material to reduce the brightness(nd filters)?.
About the stand, I already own a suitable one to hold it.

You can use nets and ND in place of wire scrims, but they just aren't as practical. I wouldn't exclude their purchase if these won't accommodate scrims at these prices.

You should also consider what you can obtain used lighting for in your area. Things like Mole and Arri used are often better than many other sources new.

thanks for your advice.
I'll buy it as i also need it to light a theater play next month
I was also thinking about buying an arri 650 fresnel next summer.
I also look on ebay for bargains, but most of them don't ship overseas to spain
