I haven't seen the film yet but the vfx highlights look amazing lol
I'm just wondering how this can be done.
I've recently stumbled upon a project where I need this.
Could anyone tell me how??

Almost every film, if not all, have shots like these. It's called compositing and you will need a vfx artist to do that for you. If you want to try it on your own, there are some cool tutorials over at www.videocopilot.net and ae.tutsplus.com but there's a somewhat steep learning curve.
