i just saw this today in one of my classes

stars Harrison Ford, and I'd never heard of it before today.

It had me interested all the way until the end. The class actually laughed (and we're a big class) at the scene of the amish men running to the rescue.

It felt like someone should have died...I personally thought the boy was going to end up shooting the bad cop. I mean, they took the time to show the old man teaching the boy that guns were bad and the boy said "I'll only kill the bad guys".

I was trying to predict the ending, using what my script writing class has taught me about throw-away dialogue, foreshadowing, etc...

Has anyone else seen this movie and have any comments on the story?

I've seen it several times. The last time was years ago though. Good movie as I remember. It was hugely succesful when it was released ... I think that's all I have to say about that.

Last time i saw it was in a scriptwriting class i took in college also.

And i agree the whole shootout on the farm in the end was kinda..... ehh
