The Who

....put on a great show tonight here in OKC. Pete can still wail on the guitar and Roger sounded great and hit 'the notes' time and time again.

I hope I look as good when I'm their age.

Don't get me started, I was the biggest Who fan that ever lived back in the early 80's. Quadrophinia is still the best album ever made. Suprisingly, I was never a big Tommy fan of all the stuff they did. Yeah some would argue the Beatles and the Stones were the top two from the British Invasion. The Who is the best rock band from that era, and showing up in suprising places lately. Magic Bus in Jerry McGuire, all the CSI crap and on and on.

I was there in 86 at Shea Stadium when The Clash opened for them. 16 years old and loving every second. It was sadly their first farewell tour of many, but Entwistle was still rocking Boris the Spyder RIP.

Long Live Rock! Be it dead or alive.
