The walking dead season 4

Are you watching Season 4 of the Walking Dead? Do you think the series has a lot more story to tell, or should they wrap it up?

I've really enjoyed the series, but so many cast members are dead and they've explored so many situations already, cast vs zombies, cast vs internal leadership conflicts, cast vs other groups trying to survive, boy coming of age, etc., that I think maybe they should go out on a high note before the story gets stale.

End it already... or figure out how to A. Cure the disease, or B. Where the disease came from.

It's getting old/boring... I'm tired of it.

I agree that the main story arc should be resolved soon, but also the character arcs are a bit long in the tooth as well. You can only develop a character so much.

I'm still interested, especially if they show more of how the world has developed. At this point people should be finding their place, from empire builders to cannibals, and I think there's a lot to say with that. As long as each individual encounter isn't super drawn out. I'm hoping the move away from focusing too much on trite character stories in order to show us the bigger picture. But I'm happy with it anyway, being that it's just under an hour of well done zombie violence once a week. I don't watch it to discuss symbolism in my film club.

I thought after season 2 it got lame, it's like a horror based soap-opera. I enjoy the BTS more than the show.

I enjoyed the episodes of season 4 that put us into the mind of the Governor. How he was able to manipulate strangers into fighting against a cause they knew very little about.

For me I wish there was more to how you catch the disease. Also, it seems like food should be much harder to come by. Clean water as well. It also seems like after the governor episodes, we're not as far after the initial event as I thought. I mean, the women in the apartment the governor meets?? How long have they been holed up there, with an old man on oxygen? Okay I get the food truck, but it seems to be dragging. Still don't get how they can turn after getting bit, but not from any other body fluid transfers. I get they are all infected and turn when they die, but?? I still like it, especially the style it's shot in. There is about a 30 second shot in in Season 4 Episode 7 at about 4.75 minutes in, where the governor and the little girl are outside. He's at the clothes line and she's playing chess. They crane up on the governor and the girl drops out of frame, but he stays in place while the skyline is revealed. It's really cool. It conveys the drama and tone of how she's not his dead daughter, and how he's living a fantasy. LOVE.

There's a lot of suspension of disbelief required for sure. I don't want to nitpick the premise, but one thing people often point out is who's mowing the lawns? It's been a couple of years now. The grass, shrubs and underbrush would be waist high by now but every house they walk up to has neatly mowed lawns.
