The Village Redux

Re: The Village Redux

no surprises to me. i spoiled mysef at the beggining, just like the others with the piano.

It was a marketing mistake to describe it as a frightning film. I do believe he tried to make a modern little Red hood (yellow) girl, with background.

What killed me was the banned airplanes thing. No way i eat that. Not enough money in the world to do that. Besides it was a bad cos it needed explanation from a character.

Is like these thrillers... well, like Mind Hunters. You never guess who´s the killer till end cos he had a bad childhood. I hate that, it was awful and no clues around all the film, like the vllage...

I like the film, but as melodramatic fairytale.

Sure there is. If it wasn't sitting under a commercial route, all they'd have to do is ban private planes. And that's probably easy for wildlife preserves. Might not even cost anything.

yes, but what about the vapor trail... you can see for more than 50 km away... Satellites by night would be an everyday question. Maybe you are right for wildlife preserves and they can banned private airplanes. But it was difficult for me to imagine no forestal guards go inside, no tourists, no ilegal hunters, no DVX documental filmakers (Disjecta... :P ). No dirt throw the river water...

The airplane thing is the obvious one because everybody would see it, but i thougth it was a bad trick to keep everything in place, and probably he imagined this when one reader point this trail to him.

I rather choose the two moons version ;D

Walker (William Hurt) owns the preserve and apparently set it up to be absolutely no access to anyone.

Hey, it's a movie. ;D
