The Video/Digital Cinema News Cycle is Eating Itself?

Can you elaborate?

Sure.

Thats only front heavy because your are holding it wrong!

Gripped at the mic point it would be fine.

Clearly a 'super DSLR' would not have the mic there!

Haha, right, it would be in the camera bag because it broke off the hot shoe adapter.

Sorry im not getting you.

With a complete redesign of the form factor the XLRs would be placed as per the F3 or FS7

The handle would be placed above the COfM of a typlical lens (24-105?) - or as in my personal FS7 the top would have an arca wedge so the handle would be easy to remove and could slide fore/aft to get balance with any lens but the largest telephoto.

That sounds like an Fs5

Yep the FS5 is an appealing camera ergonomics wise size/shape/mass.

The biggest problem is the rear eyepeice is too small so you cant make a proper third point of contact.

A professional FS5 would be my near perfect 'everyday' camera.

Yes, a very likable concept.

FS5 is so nice to handle and to me at least both the LCD and EVF works which makes it a very compact thing to operate. I prefer to hold my FS5 over the FS7.
