It's a cool shot, but man I hate how this picture was shot!

Just curious, what about it did you dislike? It was kind of an influential movie for me (as a 19-year-old who had just decided to start a career in the field).

I just re-watched Bound for Glory a couple of weeks ago- man, I love 70's films, this one, too!
I always think of Bound for Glory, Rocky and The Shining as the big 3 for early Steadicam.
I forgot about the scene in Marathon Man (will have to re-screen that one, too)- oh, that reminds me- I have a dentist appointment coming up... :shocked:

I just dislike the huge amount of diffusion on the lens to soften the image. I don't mind when it's done well, but I feel like Wexler went overboard on this. But what do I know, he won the oscar that year.
