Well, I threw two pieces of wadded up paper at my daughter tonight, yelled LIGHTNING BOLT! and got a well worn sock smacked in the back of my head only moments ago, accompanied by her very own "LIGHTNING BOLT!" Scared the crap outta me!
And is the last special effect hurled in the video actually "death!"? I wont be throwing any more papers at my girl if that's the case. heh!

This looks a lot like I.F.G.S., the International Fantasy Gaming Society. Kind of like D&D with costumes and aluminum-foil-wrapped foam swords.
The woman yelling 'Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt' is reminding the people who are getting hit with them that they are taking X number of hits of damge each time one lands. Did you notice she popped one of her teammates first? Oops! Frickin' magic users...

This is the Society For Creative Anachronism, a historical recreation group that, among other things, has created a unique full-contact marshal art which attempts to emulate medieval foot soldier combat. I played that game for twenty years, and got to be a well-known fighter.
Maybe I'll post some clips at some point. My armor is still in the garage, awaiting the next weekend war.
By the way, we SCA folks think IFGS folks to be kinda wimpy...

I think this is a good way to scare off the gang members in my area. Get some crumpled up paper and throw it at them while saying lighting bolt...lighting bolt. I'm sure they'll run off or bust a cap in my ass.

The one thing is, no matter what you are into, you can find others that are into it too. The internet only makes it easier.
Not trying to defend them, but, I'm sure there are people out there saying "There is this forum where a bunch of geeks just post clips from a panansonic camera and talk about their cameras and stuff".
Saying all that though, I still laugh my ass off when I watch it. ;D
