I'm an editor. My friend is a producer. We went to film school together, and got beat around working for nothing in indie film. But it was fun.
Over a year ago we decided to make a site called Indie Studio that helped filmmakers find shooting locations, equipment, crew and jobs a lot easier than craigslist. It was a tall order and a big project, but we launched it here in LA a few months ago, and so far, so good.
We need other filmmakers to carry the torch. This site is 100% free. And it rocks. We're making new improvements soon.
