But, a low price could change my mind, I'd be more willing to give it a shot.[/quote]

From pictures I can have an Idea, and it seems simple enough not to be very expensive as a concept, but I would have to see it in person to actually set a purchase. If I was to completely trust the rig from the photograph, It is a killing concept.

midle class people product sitting om mazda and not on the bmw
might be that it have to be other way to show that this one doesnt scratch the paint
looks very relible to me and easy to mount
If you are careful and mount it your self, Plan ahead, Do it slowly, Another hand is always recomanded, and make few tests on your neighbors car first... Your car will remain un scratched.

I keep the Mazda for Rig tests, I drive a Rolls Royce !
I like that it's simple to mount, but most of it, it's a simple concept probably made of cheap materials and is not going to cost a lot (Hint! hint!). I don't trust suction cups, although they pretty much can handle a video camera. I have a few doubts about the paint as well, and I am not very shure about all the possible locations we can rig it. To tell you the truth, I'm not too sure I'd buy this rig unless it was significantly (at least 25%) cheaper than other approaches, but I like the way it is built over the concept: It doesn't need spacecraft alluminium to make a car rig. Is just something that can stick there. Maybe a tripod you can strap to your car...
I'd be a lot less worried about security with something like this than suction cups. I mount moutain bikes on my trunk with something that attaches with those nylon straps/hooks like that. I guarantee that two mountain bikes are heavier than the DVX....with a mattbox... with an extra large battery.... with...anything else you couuld think to throw on it.
Just doesn't seem like it'll be nearly as flexible as suction mounts. Depending on the body style of the car...you may or may not be able to mount it in certain places (need a solid metal lip to hook to).
It would be pretty lame to but a rig like that, and then find out that you can't get the basic "attached to door looking in" set-up b/c your doors don't have a solid spot to hook to like their demo car.
