The True Cost of Robin Hood

Is anyone even going to see the movie? I know none of my friends (or myself for that matter) are saying "Dude, I'm so PSYCHED for Robin Hood! It's about time Hollywood does Robin Hood again!"

I'm so fed up with medieval age films that I wouldn't even give it a chance on piracy (To answer chipgs post). So this is a pass on my wallet.

And from the Wikipedia description, it makes the same historical mistakes as the Costner version, except that they're worse. I suppose he won't say "this is English courage" with a Kansas accent, though.

Well...yeah...the history thing. It's a bit insulting if you know the basic facts. Don't get me started.

I'll just watch the Curtiz classic or the Bergin/Thurman version.

But I used to LOVE these kinds of films. I was a total geek over them. Swords? I'm there. Chicks with swords? I'm there all day.

But when I saw the ads for this, i just. didn't. care. And I really like Crowe, Scott and Blanchett.

I'm assuming I will be disappointed.
