sinbad was a hell of a lot funnier than carrot top. have you never seen 'jingle all the way?' :laugh:
 
Dane Cook was the first to come to mind. I was pleased to see his picture on top of the page.

I'm ashamed that he's from Boston.

I have to admit that Tom Green's original show on MTV was consistently funny, but his newer one was just dry.

I don't know, some of these comedians have been funny yet most are obnoxious at times. I can't stand Kathy Griffin though, not at all.

I like all these people. Judy Tenuta and Carrot Top are indeed funny. (In fact Carrot top makes millions of dollars on being unfunny). Judy Tenuta was my favorite as a kid. Dane Cook - well - yea he's not all that funny.

Agree with everyone on that list but Sinbad. His 1990 stand-up is great. Its like a clean version of Eddie Murphy's Raw. I would replace Sinbad with that comedian that draws all his jokes and sings crap songs. I have no idea what his name is but he comes on Comedy Central quite a bit.

That guy or Jim Gaffogin.

Dude... this is frighteningly amazing. I was on the laptop in front of the TV with comedy central on... and I thought I'd give Dane Cook another chance... so I just left it on that channel for some old crap where he's in all black, in a tank top (to give any supporters context of the particular show)...

And just like all the other shows... the sell-out shows... I'm AMAZED! Dane Cook is proof that you pretty much ONLY have to be good looking to succeed. That is really really sad... and I want to make fun of it... that dude is SO unfunny that I don't know how he looks himself in the mirror... he SUCKS... I mean that dude SUCKS. WTF is wrong with people? How does that guy have even 2 jerks in the audience?

All you have to do to be a successful comedian is look good... and be LOUD... apparently that's all it takes.

Jeez... I wanted to kick my TV in yet again... as Dane Cook goes on and on about watching the nature channel... talking about snakes with venom... and then screaming "I WANT THAT!"

Where' the freakin' joke man? Why not just do ALL the animals Dane? That's going to be the basis of my Wayne Cook youtube campaign.

My take on Dane Cook. I just watched the youtube link. I'd never heard of him -- apparently he's the most successful comic on the planet? Wow. He's not very funny. However, personally, he's fairly amusing -- he held my attention and I smiled a few times. He reminds me of something I'd see from a dorm mate in the school cafeteria on Talent Night.
 
From what I've seen Sinbad's stand up is pretty funny, but can we add Craig Ferguson to the top of that list? How he got a late night show still blows my mind. Not only is he not funny, but he is the most annoying person I've seen on TV.

Haven't seen him much lately but he was on the Gene Simmons roast and as far as I was concerned the "under construction" (think plastic surgery) joke about Gene and his wife/girlfriend/whatever was just massive. He lead off with a crack on the other red headed comedian that was just a great start to a nice set.

As for Judy Tenuta I had a crush on her as a kid. She was so funny. Haven't seen her recently either.

Kathy Griffin I can take or leave. Sinbad is a toss-up sometimes he's on sometimes I just don't get it or care. I remember my mom saying "He's didn't do anything." (Meaning he wasn't that funny) when he won start search the first time then kept winning.

Dane Cook. I've seen some of his special. I think one joke was memorable if at all funny.

Great list, backed 100%. Especially Richard Louis, I can't stand that douche. Their assessment was dead on, he embodies all that was crap in the 90's.
