The Three Stooges

If it weren't for Jack and Jill, this would be the worst trailer I've seen all year. Wrong in almost every way...except the casting, which seems pretty bang on. But some things should just stay in the era they were created in.

If it were just that, a 1:46 trailer (aka an SNL or FOX NFL show skit), it woulda been pretty good.
Unfortunately, it ain't...so it ain't.

PS- I still don't believe Jack and Jill is a real film. I think everyone is ****ing with me Truman Show-style (like they did by telling me they thought Dane Cook was funny.)

There's actually a pretty decent theory, based on the final scene, that the movie is a giant troll by Sandler. Essentially it claims he purposefully made an atrocious film, knowing perfectly well that audiences would still pay to see it and he and his friends would get paid.

As for this "film"... it looks abominable of course, but what I find amusing is that it is essentially the same type of comedy that people beloved the original show for back in the day. Really puts nostalgic hard-heads in perspective.

Some things just can't be updated. I don't object to the humor. It's the placing of these characters in a modern setting that makes no sense to me.

I'm not a Three Stooges fan, but the script did make me laugh. Will have to see how the final product pans out.

I'm gonna be honest, it really didn't strike me as all that horrendous. It's the Three Stooges, and it fits in perfectly with the old routine. I even stifled a laugh or two.
