HEY GUYS I HAVE TO SHOOT A VIDEO FOR INDUVISAL DANCERS AT THE STRIP CLUB AS SOME SORT OF TEASE VIDEOS FOR THEM TO SELL TO THERE FANS HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK I SHOULD CHARGE ? AND WHAT MODE SHOULD IT BE FILMED IN ?

Strip film

Strip film

Get paid in cash. In my experience (hmm..) it's harder to collect 'alternative' payment when your 'actors' skip out and leave the life in a month or two. While it might be nice to get a lapdance after a shoot, your time is probably worht mor than the $100 a few lapdances would cost.

It should be filmed in Ziplock bags. ;-)

Seriously-- where's the footage going when it's done - web, DVD's, on-air? If video look / DVD is what you're thinking, push shoot 720 or 1080 higher speed (30, 60). If you're going for filmic look or post-processing into a movie or something, 720/24. Cranking ( esp over- ) could be good. Good luck with the blacks breaking up ( prob need to crush them in post) and crappy (read 'dramatic, sexy') lighting.

on a side note... my band has a bluesy style song that sings about the strip club. so if you need something along the line of that... let me know. most likely they will want something more "seductive" feeling or something to that effect.. since the focus isnt on the music...

This sounds like something you should price by the day. If it is one day or less. $1500.
$1000 a day and $500 for the editing. If they don't like the editing they can buy another day. Trust me they will start to like your work fast.
Get something in writing that outlines what the project is and BRING LIGHTS.
Personally you should understand that if you pull out your camera and edit for less than $1000 it isn't probably worth it. If you are working for less than that you are doing favors.

Hey Stickman504,
where are you located? I'm in LA and one of my scripts calls for some shooting in a Strip Club. Its many months away from shooting, but I'd love to help out in order to make some connections with the Club owner.
Let me know if you are in LA?
Thanks.
