The stars and fire?

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to shoot an opening sequence for a short film where the camera is pointed at the stars, and then pans down to a camp fire. For visual clarity I wanted to use digital stars or something of the like. I do not have a lens that can reach the stars and still be framed with the fire.

Does anyone know the best way to accomplish this shot?

Just change the position of the footage so its out of frame at the bottom, put in your star clip, and then move both the stars and the footage upwards untill the footage is back in its normal spot.

You could also try adding a small lens warp to the middel of the star field so it looks like you are actualyl moving the camera in a natual arc on a tripod.
