The Sorcerer's Apprentice

Wizards and... Nicolas Cage?

Err... well it seems interesting. Cage doesn't feel as out of place as I thought. He's playing a somewhat believable character in this one. Seems kind of cool and I'm a fan of Jay Baruchel.

It's by the same director of National Treasure :S but he was also the exec producer and director of some episodes of the tv show Jericho (which I'm a pretty big fan of).

If you put a plank of wood with Nicolas Cage and asked them both to act, you would get the exact same emotional range... Keanu Reeves is another.

I think I'd rather cast the plank of wood. :cheesy:

Oh, come on. Raising Arizona and Leaving Las Vegas are works of genius, Adaptation and Wild at Heart are two more great Cage performances. He just belongs in off center, character driven films. He does his crappiest work in crappy mainstream movies, where his oddball talents are wasted.

For me, watching Cage is like fingernails on a blackboard. I'm sure he has lots of fans...he keeps making movies.

I can't tell the difference!

Well in the first one he has shorter hair.

i think Cage does these horrible flicks for the money (which he does need btw)

but yeah, i like him best in low-key productions.

sorcerer nothing, though... he's going to be a 14th century Crusader!
