The Sixth Sense Effect

I'm doing a shoot and I was wondering if you guys can help me. I need to have an idea of the type of effect used in the movie, "The Sixth Sense", when Bruce Willis just realize he's dead and the background start looking all weird. haha.. Sorry for the poor explanation. Any kind of tip will help. Thanks guys!
 
I think the Vertigo effect was used in "Just Friends" when Ryan Reynolds goes back to his apartment and see's Samantha James guitar... The background gets all funky lookin as it zooms in on his face... Cool effect... It happened in Employee of The Month also when Dane Cook sees the drink in his house
 
maybe the wrong clip... i don't see any effects of fancy camera movements just the jib shot when he's lying on the bed. is that it??
 
yeah I don't see the vertigo effect here
only "weird" thing was cutting between him on the wall to him in the bed and that was just about pillows that matched the wallpaper, lighting, and getting in tight.

I think you guys are right, it's the dolly zoom or the "vertigo effect" that I'm trying to acheive. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks!
