Re: the SICKEST set up ever

Yeah, that looks just like my setup. Only, I use a little old Pany GS-15:

Hey! Your Azden floats!

It's amazing how the camera becomes an accessory in that setup.

Speaking of "becoming," when/how did "sick" come to mean "really, really excellent"?

No no, that's from the custom mic cable that holds its form. It's super cool because the mic gets no vibration from being mounted to the camera body.

Oh, and unlike that other setup similar to mine, I have a mic cable!

:D

Around the time Tommy Guerrero used it in "Search for Animal Chin"
(1987) "Tony, do that ollie dude, at Del Mar... That was so si si si sick!
So sick..."

Re: the SICKEST set up ever

It's pretty good but my 1988 Sears VHS camcorder is way better.

Re: the SICKEST set up ever

Nice. Amongst all of those accessories, maybe you should have renamed the film to "DVX is Missing" :D

Re: the SICKEST set up ever

It's almost as though the camera has disappeared under the add-ons and that's not a bad thing. Awesome!

Re: the SICKEST set up ever

so what was the final cost on having that boat load of equipment. I would still like to see more stills or a trailer at least

Re: the SICKEST set up ever
