The Runaways

Ahhhh yes Lita Ford:beer:..... someday I'll have to tell the story of my time with her back in the early 90's... it all started in a crowded, smoke-filled bar in southern California...two days later, it was over. I felt so used. :(

I liked it - although I felt it was a bit too music video-ey at some parts, but can you blame Sigismundi?

Also, a bit biased, my girlfriend plays Sandy West. ;)

I guess nobody here saw this? It's a shame, there are some cool sequences, also enjoyed Kim Fowley's crazy monologues...

edit :

also if you want the full story (the movie is a bit sparse) check out the novel Neon Angel

Daughter and I have been looking forward to this film but so far it has not made the rounds in South Texas.

A good movie. If you've seen one rock biopic you've seen them all, but it was well shot and the performances were good, especially Michael Shannon. I can't believe that guy is only 36 years old, though. And speaking of age, boy did this movie ever make me feel oh so wrong...I'll just leave it at that.

I liked it. It was better than I thought it would be as Rock 'n Roll biopics tend to be pretty predicable. The cast really came through on this one and I agree; Michael Shannon was outstanding. I thought that the Super 16 look was really well done. All in all, worth a watch. I gave it 3 stars on Netflix and added playlist of all of The Runaways albums on my Grooveshark page. Those chicks rocked.
