The Power of Rain!

Electricity Question.

Im shooting a music video on Tuesday, where the band are in a small garage, and I am shooting from the outside facing the band. The garage isnt connected to the house, so Im running extention leads from an outside socket on the house to the garage.

This is all well and good, but the BBC is saying its going to rain on Tuesday. Its not a shoot that I can just pick up and move to another day, so how can I protect the lighting and power from the rain?!

Please also note that the garage is connected to several other garages that are owned by other people, so I cannot errect a Marquee.

Help?

You MUST be sure the outlets are properly grounded and wired. There's an inexpensive tester for that. You MUST use ground fault circuit interrupters on all runs. Put celo rain hats on the lamps and keep all the electrical connections dry and off the ground with a half apple and cover them with a rubber mat. I hate working in rain. http://www.cinematography.com/index.php?showtopic=49830
