(I'm in no way involved in this film, purely objective views here) Last night I went to The Watershed in Bristol to see this new documentary, 'The Possibilities Are Endless'. It's about 80's musician Edwyn Collins who suffered from a horrific stroke about 8 or 9 years ago. It follows his thoughts and recovery as he tries to regain his memories of his past, his music and his family.

It is a pure sensory, cinematic and emotional experience that manages to take you into what Edwyn went through after his stroke.

The screenings at the moment are on tour around England, and the one I saw last night was followed by a Q&A with Edwyn himself, his wife and the directors, followed by an acoustic session with Edwyn singing some new songs.

Seriously one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. If you live in England, get on it quick and get to one of these screenings.
