The "Plastic" /artificial look of Nicki Minaj

Lots and lots of make up.

Lots of lights.

Very limited colour palette for each shot.

Large areas of one colour.

Terrible song.
 
The cool blowing silk in the blue/purpleish shot would have looked better a bit more out of focus. I could see the seams and etc, and it wasn't as cool.
