The Peter Jackson Diet?

OH MY GOD!!!

Anybody see Peter Jackson on the AFI tribute to George Lucas. I did not recognize him. He has gotten very thin. What's up with that? Is he on some super diet or is getting a 40" ape to the screen taking it out of him?

I know, I did not recognize him on that AFI show, until he spoke.
 
It's actually not a diet at all. WETA has become so good at FX that they can now place a CG created "thin" suit over Peter's human body. Although when it rains or there's high wind the signal break-ups and he's fat again.
 
he's probably been working so hard that he is just losing weight from moving around so much and the long days.

He was actually a tad chubbier at the start of production (look at the first production diary compared to last)
 
Thin Peter doesn't creep me out nearly as much as no-glasses Peter. Skininess I can deal with, but the guy has axe-murderer eyes. Glasses are nice and friendly-looking.

damn, he sure did drop some pounds...
perhaps now that he made so much money, he hired a healthy cook, nutritionist, trainer, etc...
after all it is hollywood.

Oh, come on. We all know the reason for the "svelte down"... Hot leading ladies!!! Roberto Rossellini banged Ingrid Bergman and begot Isabella Rossellini who banged David Lynch... You get the idea.
 
Good on him, he's looking more like the Peter Jackson in the documentary 'Good Taste made Bad Taste' now.
 
Seems like a good move for Peter to slim down.

Being orca fat and under all that stress is not a healthy combination.
 
For some reason, could be lack of sleep, when looking at that photo, I keep thinking Jackson resembles Peter Griffin in that Family Guy episode where he gets liposuction.
 
Enough about Jackson. What's with that boat in the photo? Is it me or does it look like a set from Blues Clues or a Jr. High production of Titanic. The entire photo looks like it would be in a High School year book for the drama club. :)
