I went to the movies today and couldnt believe my eyes in the previews. Vin Diesel is in a Disney movie called The Pacifier, where he is presumably a government operative sent to protect a (fatherless?) family and ends up being a Mr Mom.

Help me, and make it stop.

He will never, never, never be Bond! Never!

His 15 minutes is ticking away and he will ranked along side Van Dam any time now. B-star and his movies will go unnoticed and straight to video.

Dang Dakota, you gave him B, the dude deserves like a D-.

I did like Van Dam in Blood Sport. I think that was his only good movie.

Ah, these new Bond rumors freak me out. First I heard that Orlando Bloom will play the "young James Bond", and now Vin Car Engine.
I agree with John, Clive Owen should definitely be the next one.

That, from the rumors I have heard is the most likely case right now. Jude Law is being wooed but I doubt he would do that right now. His career is going in a good direction so I would assume he will pass. All just speculation naturally.

Could be Paul Rueubens for all I know.

I wouldn't mind Clive.. he had a Bondish type of aura in the BMW series

Apparently Clive Owen said Bond would be the "worst move I could make" - from the imdb...

Really? Wow. I think Clive would rock; but they need to take a step backl and redo Bond. Its gotten sesational and over the top (again).

Interesting. I think it would be a great career move for him. Not to mention I personally think he would rock as Bond. Hard to say too, he may have a half dozen quality projects in the works for the next few years making being Bond trivial. Now if he turns down Bond and does 4 small bit parts over the next 4 years he's a silly fool.

Its not a problem. The topic is as short-lived as I think the movie is going to be. ;D
