The Olympus E-system thread

Hey Starmapper, life has called me away for a bit, but coming back to this forum I found myself going first to the Olympus forum to see what you've been doing. I'm not disappointed. Very good work sir.

Thanks Larry...I like the orange too they just tend to want to steal the spotlight and glow too much. I guess I could treat them with something maybe a talcum bath. Difficult to get anything done of late as I'm insanely busy and I've been fighting some variation of bird flu for about three weeks. I guess It's a blessing to be busy especially these days:) Good to see you on the forum again!
 
Still on my first cup of coffee when this little person comes into the room and gives me "THE LOOK". The camera was on the table with a 40-150 so I picked it up, popped the flash and blinded the little devil!

Walked into one of the locations I work and almost tripped over this. Apparently one of our guys snapped when faced with this spaghetti.

Kind of odd really that when I decided to stop posting to this thread, the HDD with all my images on it failed and I've lost everything I ever shot with an Olympus camera. So I'm considering all those images practice shots:) I'll start a new thread later on down the road. Someone said a while back in this thread that it didn't look like I was trying too hard and to some extent that was true. So now I'm going off to try hard:) I'm tired of romping through the bush with a telephoto lens grabbing birds, ducks and leaves, I'm taking my photography to the next evolutionary level. I'm also going to try some photojournalistic work. Thanks for all the suport and comments for this thread and hopefully I'll be back posting to my new "Serious thread" in a couple of months or so.
